Jean Kelley was born and raised in Arizona and began dancing at the age of three. She quickly fell in love with the art of dance and found herself immersed in the competition world where she performed all around Arizona and neighboring states. On a whim, Jean selected dance as her major in college and obtained her B.F.A. in Performance from Arizona State University in 2006. Upon completion of her degree, she joined CONDER/dance for three seasons where she had the privilege to dance in the Camai Dance Festival in Bethel, Alaska and the W.A.V.E Rising Series in Brooklyn, New York among many other local shows and venues. She has worked with many artists over the years, dancing with A Ludwig Dance Theater, Mary Fitzgerald dance and most recently Treeline Dance Works, based out of New York City. Jean is also certified in Group Fitness and Personal Training and resides in Peoria with her husband and two children. She is excited to be a part of The Dance Project teaching staff to share her love of dance with the amazing students.
